About coconut fiber
Coconut fibre, or coir, is extracted from the husk surrounding the coconut shell. Indonesian coir is generally supplied as bristle or mattress fibre, compressed into bales for economic shipping.
Buyers evaluate coir on fibre length, moisture, impurity content and bale density. Bale density matters commercially as much as the fibre itself, because loose baling wastes container space and raises landed cost per tonne.
We size the bale format to the buyer's container plan rather than to whatever the supplier baled last, which is where most avoidable cost sits in this product.
