Four things worth knowing before applying

    Telling a buyer a specification is not achievable is more valuable than a quotation that unravels at inspection. Nobody here is measured on quotes issued.

    Every check produces evidence. If it was not recorded, it did not happen — and that standard applies internally as much as it does to suppliers.

    A trial container runs through the same sequence as a repeat programme. Consistency is the product.

  • 04Travel is part of the work

    Sourcing and quality roles involve regular travel to production regions, yards and ports. Supplier screening does not happen over email.

    Sourcing Officer

    • Identify and assess producers against buyer requirements
    • Conduct supplier screening including reference checks and site visits
    • Maintain relationships across a portfolio of suppliers
    • Flag seasonal and capacity risk before it affects a schedule

    What we look for

    • Experience in commodity sourcing, agricultural trade or procurement
    • Willingness to travel to production regions
    • Bahasa Indonesia and working English
    • Comfortable saying no to a supplier who cannot meet a specification

    Quality Coordinator

    Jakarta, Indonesia

    Run the inspection sequence across active shipments and issue records to buyers as they are produced.

    Plan and prepare document sets against sailing dates, and manage post-shipment handover.

    • Build document timelines backwards from confirmed sailing dates
    • Cross-check documents for internal consistency before release
    • Manage handover to buyers and banks under the agreed payment mechanism

    What we look for

    • Familiarity with documentary credits and their discrepancy rules
    • Strong written English
    • Comfortable working to fixed external deadlines
