Overview

About agricultural commodities

Beyond the biomass and coconut lines we run as standing categories, we take sourcing mandates for Indonesian agricultural commodities where the buyer can define a clear specification and a realistic volume.

This is a procurement service rather than a catalogue. We do not hold stock, and we do not present a commodity as available until we have identified suppliers who can meet the stated parameters at the stated volume.

If the specification cannot be met reliably from the Indonesian supply base, we say so at the enquiry stage. That is more useful to a buyer than a quotation that unravels at inspection.

Typical applications

  • Food and beverage manufacturing inputs
  • Ingredient and additive supply
  • Industrial processing feedstock
  • Distribution and re-sale

Available grades

  • Buyer-specified

Grade defined entirely by the buyer's written specification.

  • Standard export grade

Where a recognised local export grade exists for the commodity.

Values shown are typical or target ranges for this commodity class, provided for guidance only. They are not a guaranteed specification. Final parameters depend on supplier confirmation, lot availability and the terms of the commercial agreement between the parties.

Tariff classification

Classification depends on the specific commodity. Final classification rests with the importer and their customs broker.

Packaging options

  • Woven or laminated bags to the agreed weight
  • Jumbo bags where the commodity allows
  • Buyer-specified packaging and marking

Loading options

  • Containerised loading, palletised or floor-loaded
  • Bulk loading where volume and commodity permit
  • Loading plan agreed per shipment

Supply and sourcing notes

  • Sourced on a mandate basis against a written requirement — this is not held inventory.
  • Availability, seasonality and achievable specification are confirmed before any offer is issued.
  • Some commodities carry export licensing or quota requirements that affect lead time.

A specification, a volume and a destination are enough to start. We come back with what is sourceable, on what terms, and what it depends on.
